The Apes began their short career in 1988. Their fan base consisted of mainly Krystal Mellott, and Jake Talbot.
They danced onto the music scene with their Rap ditty "We are the Apes". But soon swung into obscurity after their critically
acclaimed truth be told "Johnny got on drugs" song was released.
They recorded one album on a tape given to them from their Dad. Though out of print, a few Bootleg copies are swinging
around. They recorded a few live songs on the album :"To Virginia with love." in late 1989. They soon dis-banded after
realizing no one likes bands that don't use instruments.
They went on to become members of other bands including "The Back Seat B's" and "Tiger Back". With those bands going
no where the Apes decided to get back into the Jungle we call recording.
